WBCHSE XI English(B) Syllabus and Marks Division

 

West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) বা পশ্চিমবঙ্গ উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা সংসদ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার দ্বারা নিয়ন্ত্রিত । এই সংসদ রাজ্যের উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক স্তরের পঠনপাঠন নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে থাকে।

আজ আমাদের আলোচ্য সূচি পশ্চিমবঙ্গ উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা সংসদ এর অন্তর্গত একাদশ শ্রেণীর দ্বিতীয় ভাষা ইংরেজি বা English(B) বিষয়ের পাঠ্যসূচি। উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক স্তরে পাঠ্যসূচির ধরণ এবং প্রশ্নপত্রের ধরণ মাধ্যমিক স্তরের থেকে অনেকটাই আলাদা। সুতরাং পাঠ্যসূচি ও প্রশ্নের ধরণ সম্পর্কে একটা স্বচ্ছ ধারণা তৈরী করতে হবে।

একাদশ শ্রেণীতে লিখিত পরীক্ষায় পূর্ণমান থাকে 80(৮০) নম্বর। বাকি 20(২০) নম্বর বিদ্যালয়ের নির্ধারিত প্রকল্প কাজ(Project Work) এর গুণগত মান অনুযায়ী দেওয়া হয়।

প্রথমেই ছোট্ট করে বলি পাঠ্যসূচিতে কি কি আছে।

Prose অংশের মতো Poem অংশেও একাদশ শ্রেণীতে আমাদের পাঠ্যসূচিতে পাঁচটি কবিতা আছে।

এবার দেখে নেওয়া যাক Poem অংশের Marks Division কেমন হয় -

Rapid Reader

Prose ও Poem ছাড়াও একাদশ শ্রেনীতে Rapid Reader অংশে Charles Lamb ও Mary Lamb এর "Tales from Shakespeare" রাখা হয়েছে। এখানে William Shakespeare এর পাঁচটি বিখ্যাত নাটকের গল্পরূপ দেওয়া হয়েছে। এগুলি হল -

1. As You Like It

2. Othello

3. Macbeth

4. The Comedy of Errors

5. Twelfth Night

দেখে নেওয়া যাক Rapid Reader অংশের Marks Division কেমন হয় -

Grammar

Grammar অংশের জন্য 10(১০) নম্বর নির্ধারিত থাকে।  এই অংশের মধ্যে Do as directed থাকে সাতটি যার প্রত্যেকটির জন্য 1 নম্বর থাকে অর্থাৎ মোট 7 নম্বর থেকে। এরপর Fill in the blanks with appropriate articles and prepositions থাকে। ছয়টি শূন্যস্থানের প্রত্যেকটির জন্য 0.5 নম্বর হিসেবে মোট 3 নম্বর থাকে।

Writing Skills

Writing Skills অংশের জন্য সর্বমোট 20(২০) নম্বর নির্দিষ্ট থাকে। প্রথমে থাকে একটি Paragraph ও একটি Story। এদের মধ্যে যেকোনো একটির উত্তর করতে হয়।পূর্ণমান থাকে 10।

এরপর থাকে দুটি Newspaper Advertisement। দুটির মধ্যে যেকোনো একটির উত্তর করতে হয়। পূর্ণমান থাকে 5।

সবশেষে থাকে দুটি Commercial Leaflet। দুটির মধ্যে যেকোনো একটির উত্তর করতে হয়। পূর্ণমান থাকে 5।

New Education Policy(জাতীয় শিক্ষা নীতি)

স্কুলশিক্ষায় বড়সড় পরিবর্ত আনল কেন্দ্র। নয়া শিক্ষানীতির সৌজন্যে উঠে যাচ্ছে ১৯৬৮ সালে চালু হওয়া স্কুলশিক্ষার পুরোনো ১০+২ মডেল। এখন নতুন পদ্ধতি ফিরতে চলেছে স্কুল শিক্ষায়। ৫+৩+৩+৪ মডেল কার্যকর হবে বলে নয়া শিক্ষানীতিতে অনুমোদন দিয়েছে কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রিসভা।

আগে ১০+২ মডেলে প্রাথমিক, উচ্চ প্রাথমিক, মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পর্যন্ত ধরা হত। নতুন শিক্ষানীতিতে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিকের ধারনা তুলে দেওয়া হচ্ছে। নতুন ব্যবস্থায় উচ্চ মাধ্যমিককে মাধ্যমিকস্তরে ধরা হচ্ছে। এখানে পড়ুয়াদের বয়স চারটি ভাবে ভাগ করা হয়েছে। ৩ থেকে ৪ বছর, ৮ থেকে ১১ বছর, ১১ থেকে ১৪ বছর, ১৪ থেকে ১৮ বছর পর্যন্ত পড়ুয়াদের শ্রেণি বিন্যাশ করা হয়েছে। প্রাক প্রাথমিকেও দু’টি ভাগে ভাগ করা হয়েছে। ৩ বছর পর্যন্ত গ্রেড-১, দু’বছরে গ্রেড-২। এর পর তিন বছর প্রস্তুতিমূলক স্তরের গ্রেড ধরা হয়েছে ৩,৪,৫ করে। পরের তিন বছরে উচ্চ প্রাথমিক স্তরে গ্রেড ধরা হয়েছে ৬,৭ ও ৮। সবশেষে চার বছরের মাধ্যমিকস্তর। দেওয়া হয়েছে ৯,১০,১১ ও ১২। এভাবেই ৫+৩+৩+৪ পদ্ধতি চালু হচ্ছে।

নয়া শিক্ষানীতিতে দশম শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত পরীক্ষা তুলে দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে। নবম থেকে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত স্কুলে ৮টি সেমিস্টার নেওয়া হবে বলে জানানো হয়েছে কেন্দ্রের নীতিতে। দ্বাদশ শ্রেণিতে বোর্ডের পরীক্ষায় ৮টি সেমিস্টারের প্রস্তাব দেওয়া হয়েছে। পদার্থবিদ্যা, রসায়নের মতো বিষয় নিয়ে পড়লেও ফ্যাশন ডিজাইনিংয়ে পড়ার সুযোগ দেওয়া হয়েছে কেন্দ্রীয় নয়া নীতিতে। নতুন জাতীয় শিক্ষানীতিতে গুরুত্বহীন হয়ে পড়েছে মাধ্যমিক। স্নাতকে অনার্স কোর্স চার বছর পর্যন্ত করা হয়েছে। এছাড়াও পঞ্চম শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত মাতৃভাষা বা আঞ্চলিক ভাষায় শিক্ষার উপর দেওয়া হয়েছে গুরুত্ব।

নতুন শিক্ষানীতিতে বলা হয়েছে, স্কুলের আগে তিন বছরের প্রাক-স্কুল শিক্ষা রাখা হচ্ছে। ১০+২ স্কুল শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থার বদলে ৫+৩+৩+৪ ব্যবস্থা চালু করা হচ্ছে। তৃতীয় থেকে পঞ্চম শ্রেণি প্রস্তুতিপর্ব হিসাবে ধরা হয়েছে। ষষ্ঠ থেকে অষ্টম শ্রেণি মাঝারি পর্বের শিক্ষা বলে ধরা হচ্ছে।  নবম থেকে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণি মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা হিসাবে ধরা হচ্ছে। প্রতিবছর দু’টি সেমেস্টারে ভাগ করা হয়েছে। উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা বলে আর কিছুই থাকবে না। পাঠ্যক্রমে সামগ্রিক শিক্ষা, যুক্তিবাদী ভাবনা, সৃজনশীলতা, দলগত ভাবে কাজ, সামাজিক দায়বদ্ধতা, একাধিক ভাষা শিক্ষা ও ডিজিটাল শিক্ষায় গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে। তিন বছরের বদলে চার বছরের অনার্সের স্নাতক স্তর হিসাবে বিবেচনা করা হয়েছে। দু’বছরের ডিপ্লোমা, তিন বছরের অনার্স ছাড়া ব্যাচেলার ডিগ্রি নিয়ে বেরিয়ে যাওয়ার সুযোগ থাকছে।

সরকারি স্কুলের শিক্ষক বা শিক্ষিকা প্রাইভেট টিউশন করলে কি কি আইন ভঙ্গ করছেন

◆◆◆◆আসুন ,আমরা জেনে নিই একজন সরকারি স্কুলের শিক্ষক বা শিক্ষিকা প্রাইভেট টিউশন করলে একসঙ্গে কতগুলি আইন ভঙ্গ করছেন◆◆◆◆

       (১)RIGHT TO EDUCATION  ACT.এই আইনে  কোনো সরকারি স্কুলের শিক্ষক বা শিক্ষিকার প্রাইভেট টিউশন কঠরভাবে নিষিদ্ধ ।  

       (২)PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION ACT.1988. Lieu money taken in disguise of Private tuition

       (৩) INCOME TAX ACT  যেহেতু প্রাইভেট টিউশনটাই এদের অবৈধ। অবৈধ টাকার উপর কোন INCOME TAX দেওয়া যায়না তাই এটি INCOME TAX ACT  ফাঁকি দেওয়ার আওতায় পড়বে। 

        (৪)GST যেহেতু বছরে ২০লক্ষ টাকার বেশী উপার্জন হলে তিনি GST এর আওতায় পড়েন কিন্তু স্কুলটিচাররা প্রাইভেট টিউশনের Income লুকিয়ে GST ফাঁকি দেন। 

        (৫)PROFESSIONAL TAX  কারণ এরা private tuition -এর মাধ‍্যমে প্রচুর উপার্জন করলেও  পেশা হিসাবে প্রাইভেট টিউশনকে  সরকারের কাছে  স্বিকার করতে পারেন না। 

        (৬)   MUNICIPAL TAX স্কুলটিচারদের প্রাইভেট টিউশন আইনের চোখে অবৈধ তাই প্রাইভেট টিউশনের জন্য এদের কোনো  Trade license দেওয়া হয়না। 

        (৭)PREVENTION OF MONEY LAUNDERING ACT

       (৮)OFFICE OF PROFIT এই আইন অনুযায়ী একজন কোন অফিস অধীনে লাভজনক কাছে যুক্ত থেকে অপর কোন লাভজনক সুবিধা গ্রহন করতে পারেন না। 

       (৯)  এঁদের চাকুরীর সর্তানুযায়ী Service Rule এ লিখতে হয় অন‍্যকোনো লাভজনক পেশার সঙ্গে কোনরকম  যুক্ত নেই তাই private tuition-এর মাধ‍্যমে অর্থ উপার্জন চাকুরীর সর্তকে ভঙ্গ করে(service rule break) ।

      (১০)  শিক্ষা দফতরের অধীনে কাজ করে, অর্থ নিয়ে,তারই নির্দেশিকা( KOLKATA GAZETTE) অমান্য করা বিভাগীয় অপরাধ।

উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষার ফলাফল

গতকাল ১৪ ই জুলাই উচ্চ-মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা সংসদ কর্তৃক এক প্রেস বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে জানানো হয়েছে আগামী ১৭ই জুলাই শুক্রবার পশ্চিমবঙ্গ উচ্চ-মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা সংসদ আয়োজিত উচ্চ-মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষা ২০২০ এর ফলাফল প্রকাশিত হতে চলেছে। উক্ত দিন বিকেল ৩টে ৩০মিনিটে রবীন্দ্র মিলন মঞ্চে অনুষ্ঠিত এক সাংবাদিক বৈঠকে সংসদ সভাপতি মাননীয়া ডঃ মহুয়া দাস আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাবে ফলাফল প্রকাশ করবেন। তবে এদিন কোনো মেধাতালিকা প্রকাশিত হবে না।

বিকেল ৪টা থেকে ছাত্রছাত্রী ও তাদের অভিভাবক – অভিভাবিকাগণ সেই ফলাফল বিভিন্ন ওয়েবসাইটে দেখতে পাবেন। সংসদ উল্লিখিত ওয়েবসাইটগুলি হলো -

আগামী ৩১শে জুলাই দুপুর ২টো থেকে সংসদ নির্ধারিত বিভিন্ন ক্যাম্প অফিস থেকে বিদ্যালয়ের প্রতিনিধিরা ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের শংসাপত্রগুলি সংগ্রহ করতে পারবেন। পরে বিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষ কর্তৃক ওই শংসাপত্র ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা নিজেরা বা তাদের অভিভাবক বা অভিভাবিকাদের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হবে। শংসাপত্র সংগ্রহ করার সময় অবশ্যই সামাজিক দূরত্ববিধি ও অন্যান্য প্রোটোকল মানতে হবে।

Madhyamik Result 2020(মাধ্যমিক ফলাফল ২০২০)

আগামীকাল অর্থাৎ বুধবার সকাল ১০টার সময় এক সাংবাদিক বৈঠকের মাধ্যমে প্রকাশিত হতে চলেছে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ মধ্যশিক্ষা পর্ষদের এবছরের মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষার ফলাফল।

সকাল ১০টা ৩০মিনিট থেকে ছাত্রছাত্রী ও তাদের অভিভাবক – অভিভাবিকাগণ সেই ফলাফল বিভিন্ন ওয়েবসাইটে দেখতে পাবেন। মধ্যশিক্ষা পর্ষদের নিজস্ব ওয়েবসাইট www.wbbse.org ছাড়াও আরও কিছু ওয়েবসাইট থেকে ফলাফল জানা যাবে বলে পর্ষদ ইতিমধ্যেই জানিয়েছে। ওয়েবসাইট গুলি হলো –

পরীক্ষার্থীর রোল, নম্বর ও জন্মতারিখ উল্লেখ করে এই ওয়েবসাইট গুলি থেকে ফলাফল জানা যাবে। এছাড়াও Google Play Store থেকে “Madhyamik Results 2020” নামে অ্যাপ্লিকেশনটি ডাউনলোড করে খুব সহজেই ফলাফল জানা যাবে।

তবে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা এদিনই মার্কশিট হাতে পাবে না। চলতি মাসের আগামী ২২ বা ২৩ তারিখ পর্ষদ নির্ধারিত বিভিন্ন ক্যাম্প অফিস থেকে বিদ্যালয়ের প্রতিনিধিরা ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের শংসাপত্রগুলি সংগ্রহ করতে পারবেন। পরে বিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষ কর্তৃক ওই শংসাপত্র ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের অভিভাবক বা অভিভাবিকাদের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হবে।

Read the passage carefully and answer the questions that follow :

He started losing all hopes and huddled inside the cave to escape from the burden of such defeat. One evening he found a spider trying to make its web on the slippery walls of the cave. Every time it dragged itself up the walls, it fell down. The king was astonished to see how desperate the spider was to meet its target. The next morning when he got up glumly, he found a sturdy web hanging from the rock walls. He learnt his lesson and decided never to give up on hard times. He came back to his army. They were all relieved to see the king back. They all fought back for the seventh time with renewed spirit and captured all enemies.

ACTIVITY 1

Complete the following sentences with information from the text :

i) The spider was desperate because it wanted to meet its target of making its web.

ii) The next morning the king found a sturdy web hanging from the rock walls.

iii) The king learnt a good lesson to see the spider trying to make its web on the slippery walls of the cave.

Suppose you bought a rubber ball from a shop. The shopkeeper put that ball in a small box and wrapped the box with colourful paper. After you opened the box at home there was something else instead of that ball! Write your experience about what happened next in about five simple sentences:

        Opening the box at home I found a rubik's cube instead of the rubber ball. I was surprised to see the lovely cube. Nodoubtedly I liked it. But I searched every corner of the box for the ball. Then I went back to inform the shop-keeper about the mistake.
